Effluent Treatment Plant (EFU) Initiative
Effluent Treatment?
An effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) is a system that’s designed to treat wastewater from industries and other sources for impurities and contaminants. So, with this kind of system, one can reuse or even dispose of the water. ETP plays a critical role in reducing environmental impact, especially in industries such as textiles, where production involves large volumes of water. ETP uses different technologies and processes in the water used at a production facility before recycling back to the environment for the set standards.
Why We Need ETP in Textile Units?
The textile industry is one of the major industries in the use of water and a leader in pollution to the environment through effluent. If these are untreated, such effluents from the textile industry can cause a threat to the aquatic ecosystem and finally reach the groundwater, thus causing a potential threat to humans.
Mianoor Textile Mills - EFU Initiative
In line with global best environment sustainability practices, at Mianoor Textile Mills, we lay a great emphasis on environmental responsibility. We contracted Water Tech Engineering (WTE) from Karachi for installing an avant-garde Effluent Treatment Plant at our Karachi, Pakistan facility. That is, in fact, a testimony to the initiatives earmarked by us for resource preservation and pollution abatement.
Our ETP initiative reflects a simple, impactful core of humanity.
At Mianoor Textile Mills, it’s not just business; we humanly are part of the quality manufacturing and production of textile products but are committed and dedicated to building a better tomorrow for generations to come. And this comes ensured by standing strongly on our side with sustainable initiatives like our Effluent Treatment Plant to invest in our commitment toward the environment and customers. You can join us on this journey toward a cleaner, greener textile industry. Together, we will make a difference.
